Jamendo – Free and legal music!

Filed under: bit torrent, internet, music, musings, news, torrent — bardicknowledge @ 9:01 am

What? Free and legal!? How can this be? Well my friends, welcome to Jamendo.

If you don’t care that the music you listen to isn’t the most popular crap on the market, and you enjoy supporting indie bands, check it! This is a site where indie bands go, sign and put put their whole albums up for download via Bit Torrent! YAY!

This is great for two reasons: 1) That we can get great and free music completely legally and 2) This is a wonderful embracement on BT in the music industry. Using bit torrent to share their music is brilliant since it saves on their bandwidth costs and increases speeds while downloading.

  2. Hope you can find some bands you like. I have found several that I really enjoy so far. The only problem that I have seen with the site so far is that the majority of the music is french. Not that I have anything against the french, but I don’t understand the language 😛
