  1. The fact that the kids are so young, I suspect, will cause some controversy (even within Christian circles). But what I’m irked by is that it’s a Pentacostal focus. The Pentacostal Movement has some ‘suspect’ practices and ideas, that are going to be interpreted as applying to Christians as a whole.

As for the ‘torrent’, it’s now a week later, and this is the first I’ve heard about it.

  2. That will be the big selling point of this documentary, and will make those unedcuated terrorifed of American Christians. Mind you, this group scares the hell out of me, but I realize it is was small minority.

As for news of the torrent, I haven’t been able to find one. I have been searching, but to no avial. I wish I could see this in theatres so I could see the reaction of everyone there though.

Way to go pal. The army of god is the ONLY army that shoots it’s own wounded. You should be ashamed of yourself for taking pot shots at a group of people who beleive the basics. ie That if you confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Lets try to keep the right focus!

you are an idiot. I’m sorry, but this movie is bollocks. And the religion as a whole is bollocks as well. My parents are baptist Christians, as is my sister. So I grew up with this stuff, went to church every sunday with them. I’m stating this, because if you do happen to reply, I know what you’re going to say, and I know how to respond.

I want to start off saying, this movie scares the living crap out of me. Even with my background in christianity, I am shocked by how these children are essentially brainwashed.

In the trailer, the kid was five years old when he was saved. Because he wanted more out of life. HE IS FIVE YEARS OLD! Jump on a big wheel and have an oreo cookie! when I was “saved” I was around the same age. And it was honestly because I was pressured by my parents. which then I realised through my teen years…who cares.

But really, christianity started because people were afraid of death, and science and knowledge was not what it is now. People were poor, and wanted to know that they were going to a better place later. They were living for a good death, rather than living for a good life. This was then passed down over the many years to today, where god and the whole religion is taken SO out of context that people literally FIGHT over this stuff. If there was a god, do you think he’d want his ‘people’ HATING homosexuals and people who have decided to have abortions? I’d hope not. You claim to have an ‘all loving’ god, however, this god condemns non-believers to an eternity of damnation if you do not believe in him. is that actually fair? I know Christians who are mean people. And they think they’re going to heaven on some sort of free ride, and I know non-christians like myself who are nice to those around them and do not either know or believe in god. so is that fair? what about the third world countries where there are no missionaries? the ‘word of god’ cannot be preached where it does not exist. what about those ‘ignorant’ people? they have eternal damnation because no one bothered to tell them.

so I wouldn’t go preaching about god. because lets face it. it’s pure bullshit.

this is a shortened version of what I really wanted to type. enjoy

and yes, I wish I could find a torrent, and if I do I will post.

  10. Thanks for the comment ^^
While I don’t agree with this film or some of the views posted here, I am glad everyone is posting what they really think.
This is my biggest qualm with religion, and in particular, the fundamentalist views; It does not teach acceptance of other cultures or religions. It clearly states that their way is the only right way and that everyone else is wrong. I happen to think that is one of the most harmful things you can do to a child since you are basically teaching them racism and intolerance of others.

  14. 3 months before a torrent came out. that pretty impressive that it took that long. But it is supposedly a screener which is amusing.

If ya don’t know what a screener is, its an internal (to the company that is producing the film) copy of the movie. Often time with watermarks, or grayed out sections with the owners name on it. Its always funny when a screener is put up since someone with in the company is responible for it.
