Cape Breton a launch pad into Space?!

Filed under: news — bardicknowledge @ 5:17 pm

After creating my new blog I have spent a bit of time browsing others, making comments where I can to try to gain some readers. But in my journeys I came across this one blog. Here I was given the link to a CTV news article describing how a space tourism group, Planetspace wants to create a launch pad. It doesn’t say where in CB they plan to make this but one would imagine on the west side of the island away from the ocean winds and currents, and further south to stay out of the mountains. So if I’m right that would mean the pad would be going up within Inverness county, the place I grew up. This would be great news, since Cape Breton is little more than a place to go to when your old to die on. The economy is almost con existent and this would be a great way to bring our Island back to life!

  1. Yeah I saw that, it was on the front page of the Herald yesterday. I was so excited but really skeptical as well. I don’t think it’ll fly.

  2. I would like it to happen but if it actually does or not is another question.
