The best Winamp plugins (13 in total that you just need)
Ok, I have gone through the huge pile of winamp plugins, picking out the top 13. None of those display (avs) ones made the list since I don’t think they are useful to winamp. I also decided to keep this list short for the sake of those that want there winamp to actaully run. Too many plugins and the program will lag.
Winamp Transcoder – Will convert file types within winamp.
Ogg-Vorbis encoder – Will allow you to play Obb-Vorbis file types
Flac encoder – Allows for Flac play back
Moo Gen Msn – A MSN Status changer.
TV Plugin – If you have a tv turner this will allow you to watch it within winamp
Gapless Output – Gets rid of that annoying gap between songs.
iPod – Uninstall iTunes. You no longer need to use it to put songs onto your iPod.
SqrSoft – A great crossfading tool.
Wombat Share – Allows for hte sharing of your library across a LAN
Toaster – Notifies you of a song, video change by displaying a customizable popup above your taskbar.
YMS Status Changer – Y! IM status changer
Leos Lyrics – Will display the lyrics to a song if the sites database has them. Great for Karaoke!
Images in Winamp – This is a nifty plugin that allows you to view images in winamp. Screw all those other image viewers, this one is good!
